All Saints Parish graveyard at Lanchester, Durham, with most burials in the mid 1800’s, the church and gravestones have many gothic features, I was particularly drawn to these 2 flat gravestones which lie side by side, covered in moss, possibly a couple buried side by side.
A very strong colour infrared effect achieved by the strong afternoon sun gives this photograph a distinct look with it’s strong purple and pink hues.
